Are you able to think big at Yahoo? How?
Yahoos get to compete in several internal hack days each year where we get one day to develop an awesome application and present it to the larger internal team. Hack Days allow us to make Yahoo! better through self-motivated creativity and direct action.
What specific Yahoo! project has made the biggest impact on you and why?
As an intern I helped work on Yahoo! Green's earth day site (http://green.yahoo.com/earth-day/). I particularly enjoyed this project because we got to write tools to help people reduce their carbon footprint!

The opportunity to impact the next generation of Internet experiences for millions of people online was irresistible!
What surprised you most about your internship at Yahoo and why?
It was a lot more fun that I had expected! The intern program always had
something awesome organized for us every week.
