I have learned how to incorporate skills acquired in previous jobs and my own personal talents to enhance my role and provide the best customer service possible.
Are you able to think big at Yahoo? How?
Absolutely! Being the former Sales Quality Analyst for the HotJobs Customer Care team, I got to think of new ways to combat fraudulent activity on our site and provide our job seekers with the securest jobs possible. Now, as Strategic Account Coordinator for Hotjobs I have the ability to work closely with companies to develop recruitment strategies that work best for them.
What specific Yahoo! project has made the biggest impact on you and why?
The New Yahoo! Recruitment Center! Prior to the launch I was a part of the “Super User” team developed to test the new site and what impacted me most about that project was that phase of the development. I was honored to be selected for this team, it showed me that I was being recognized for my work and that’s a nice feeling.
What made you choose Yahoo! as a place to work?
Yahoo! is a global company that’s involved in the everyday lives of 85% of all internet users! I was referred by an existing employee and couldn’t pass on the opportunity to be part of such a innovative, forward thinking and remarkable company.
