Favorite Moment(s):
I'll name a few. Enjoying lunch on the lawn in the summer while listening to live music, grabbing an afternoon vanilla latte at one of our many coffee bars with coworkers, team sailing on the bay to celebrate a product launch, and enjoying UED offsites such as cooking at the SF Ferry Building and at the Thomas Fogarty Winery.
What have you done to be a better Yahoo?
I’ve built and maintained strong working relationships with fellow Yahoos—present and past.
Are you able to think big at Yahoo? How?
Of course! So many great things come out this place, how can it not inspire someone to think bigger and better?
What specific Yahoo! project has made the biggest impact on you and why?
It’s a tie. The first was unveiling a huge property redesign that millions of people use every day. The other was launching something entirely new for Yahoo!. Both were satisfying accomplishments in their own respect, and I was fortunate to be a part of them.
Yahoo! News,
Yahoo! Groups,
Yahoo! 360°, and
Yahoo! Profiles are some of the products I've worked on since joining.
What made you choose Yahoo! as a place to work?
I saw an incredible opportunity to connect with millions of users by designing their everyday online experiences. The design community here is strong, and I knew I would be working in a company of many talented people.
