What have you done to be a better Yahoo?

I instill a sense of “One Yahoo!” in my team. We all work towards common goals—across department and business unit boundaries—without the notion of “this isn’t my job” or “that isn’t my project”.

Are you able to think big at Yahoo? How?

Absolutely. The Research team at Yahoo! has the unique ability to work in a way that allows for freedom of big ideas, publishing, and external collaboration, while still having a real and tangible impact on the business. We work closely with the product teams and have a mutual respect that encourages big thinking.
