Favorite Moment(s):

Daily coffee runs with the Yahoo! Video team. The best ideas and most effective communication often happen outside of the office.

What have you done to be a better Yahoo?

I strive to help people enjoy themselves. I love organizing small activities to break up the daily routine. It's often something simple, like afternoon pie and tea or group movie-making time. These moments allow us to chat with peers we normally don't see from Yahoo! Live or Fire Eagle and it helps remind us that work is fun and we all love what we do.

Are you able to think big at Yahoo? How?

When the code you develop is seen by millions of people, you can't help but strive to create the best experience possible.

What specific Yahoo! project has made the biggest impact on you and why?

Working on integrating new ad formats into Yahoo! Video has been an eye-opening experience. It was interesting to understand and communicate with so many separate components and bring them together into a coherent piece. It felt magical when I saw the ads in production for the first time.

What made you choose Yahoo! as a place to work?

Yahoo! encourages and enables new ideas. I’m constantly given the opportunity to pursue new projects. I’m also surrounded by an incredible group of people who are receptive to ideas for improvement, and present me with their own suggestions.
