Responsibilities
To succeed in this position, you must enjoy solving tough technical problems. You know what it takes to design and implement large-scale production systems with high performance, high availability, massive storage and high security requirements. You must also have strong desire to succeed.
Minimum Job Qualifications
* At least 4-6 years of software and systems development experience.
* Strong C, C++, PHP and Perl skills. Wide exposure to a variety of languages and tools a big plus.
* Good UNIX system and network programming experience. UNIX kernel level development experience (especially FreeBSD) a strong plus.
* Strong foundation in software and system design. Good understanding of OO analysis and design.
* Some exposure to performance tuning and load testing experience.
* Experience with Apache. Understand HTTP and web technologies.
* Experience in software build, configuration and release process.
* Excellent communicator. Self-starter. Can do, will do.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills.
* BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
