Job Title: Lead Account Manager
Location: Dallas, TX
Yahoo! is looking for a highly motivated; client focused Account Manager to join the number one online media organization in the world. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and optimize campaigns within the Yahoo! Ad Network.
Primary Responsibilities include:
• Leadership role to provide consultative program design across top Yahoo! Customers focused on providing Network Performance-based optimization strategies.
• Leading the development of Yahoo!’s Network Performance-based “always-on” strategy with a set of identified accounts and responding to escalation opportunities with additional top accounts within an assigned region.
• Ability to combine data analysis and client feedback to optimize complex campaigns to meet client objectives.
• Set the standard and create models to showcase scalable performance based solutions.
• Package actionable performance insights and optimization best-practices for successful programs.
• Educate and train advertisers on how to leverage the Y! Network plus appropriate 3rd party vendor data with a goal of producing effective performance-based programs
• Work closely with internal Y! teams, and potential 3rd party vendors to quickly identify needs and requirements to execute “always-on”.
• Influence development of tools to track, measure and optimize performance
• Serve as subject matter expert and assist in developing training on a national basis
Minimum Job Qualifications:
• Ability to combine data analysis and client feedback to optimize complex campaigns to meet client objectives.
• 5+ years direct related Account/Client/Relationship Management experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple daily tasks, as well as, long-term strategic projects.
• Passionate and committed to grow accounts and deliver highest levels of client service to ensure retention
• Outstanding analytical skills
• Results oriented with great attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to balance the need of the customer while maintaining corporate objectives
• Strong focus on teamwork and ability to manage relationships across multiple departments
• BS/BA or equivalent experience is necessary
Preferable Job Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience working in the online media business with an understanding of performance based programs
- DFA, Atlas, Yield Manager, Rich Media experience a plus
