University Hack Day
A festival of hacking, camping, music & good times.
If you peel back the layers of Yahoo!, the core of innovation is a group of people building something they think is really cool, that's the essence of
University Hack Day.
Here's how it works: take our APIs and mash'em up! Maps. Search. Answers. Flickr. Music. Del.icio.us... You name it. You have 24 hours to show us your best hack. We'll give you all the tools you need from the Yahoo! UI library to talks from the web gurus themselves, as well as all the food and drinks you can handle.
This is your chance to show the world what you've got, and possibly develop something that will revolutionize the industry...or at least make people laugh...c'mon we're easy. Oh and did we mention the prizes? Adoration from your peers, huge recognition from the big execs at Yahoo!, unique trophies, and of course cheesy t-shirts...if nothing else you can put off doing laundry for another week.
