"I do the very best way I know how, the very best I can and I mean to keep on doing so until the end." - Abraham Lincoln

Favourite Moment(s):
I loved moving to the new office location because of the beautiful lake view. I also enjoy hanging out with the Yahoo HotJobs team and having a good laugh. Team-building activities and lunches are the icing on the cake. Then there are organized events that make days at Yahoo memorable. The most recent one was Showcase 2009, an internal event, where we got a host of goodies. And the Scrum workshop, which was very interesting and enjoyable.

What have you done to be a better Yahoo?
I block out all the media speculations about Yahoo!'s business and future. To me, it's business as usual until the management announces otherwise, so I stay focused on my work and enjoy whatever it is I'm doing. I'm a strong believer in the 'One Yahoo!' philosophy, which means collaborating and working with business units within Yahoo as one team.and I practice it within the realm of my job responsibilities.

Are you able to think big at Yahoo? How?
I'm the product owner for the Yahoo Shopping Listings Display Ads pilot that was launched recently. I was responsible for working with all the stakeholders to make the launch happen in time for U.S. shopping season. And now, I'm monitoring the performance of these ads and driving optimizations to deliver on the success criteria.

What specific Yahoo project has made the biggest impact on you and why?
The Yahoo Shopping Listings Display Ads pilot project is cutting-edge, innovative, complex and very exciting. It?..s been a huge learning experience for me to learn about Yahoo!?..s Display Ads technology and systems. I've also had the opportunity to work on automatic ad content and creative selection flow.

What made you choose Yahoo as a place to work?
First and most importantly, Yahoo offered me the opportunity to own and build Global Products/Solutions out of Bangalore. Second, I knew I'd be working with some of the smartest people in the industry. Later I realized that the people here are not only smart but also incredibly nice and easy to work with.
